Is the course Certified? a Boston Qualifier?
No, sorry, it’s not a BQ. A course needs USATF certification to be a BQ, and trail courses are very difficult to certify due to the variety of running surfaces encountered. Also, sometimes the actual length of a trail race depends on whatever distance is needed to get you out of the woods...
May I register in person? by mail?

How long do I have to finish the race?
There is a 30 hour time limit for the 100mile and 100k ultras…….
Is the course stroller friendly?
All Run Woodstock course cover rocky, rooty and hilly terrain often along a single track trail, so strollers are not allowed on the course.
Is the course pet friendly?
As fond as we are of the K-9 Corps, we will not allow them on the course for the comfort and safety of other runners.
I was injured after registering for the race. Can I get a refund or defer until next year?
No – there will be NO refunds or deferments. We incur fixed costs for each runner based on registration numbers. As a result, we are not able to allow any refunds.
Can I switch race distances?
You may transfer your registration from one distance to another for a fee. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or you may complete your transfer at packet pickup. We strongly encourage you to complete all transfers prior to race weekend. The transfer cost does increase as race weekend approaches.
Can I transfer my registration to a friend?
Yes, you may transfer your registration to a friend for a transfer fee. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to make that change. There are no race day transfers to someone else.
Is there an age requirement for the races?
There is no requirement. However, all minors must submit a registration signed by their parent and a parent/guardian must be present on race day.
What is included with my entry fee?
Your race entry fee includes parking, an event shirt, finisher’s medal, aid station services, drop bag service for ultras, award eligibility, post race refreshments, race weekend concerts, fun runs, yoga, chip timing and final race results.
Can I wear headphones on the course?
We discourage the use of headphones on the Run Woodstock course.
Will the event go on rain or shine?
The event will go on rain or shine with only the possibility of delay in the event of lightning.
How many water stations are there on the course? What type of energy drink and gel will be available?
The full and half marathon will have aid stations approximately every 5 miles with water, Gatorade, and gels at all of them. Ultra aid stations will be available approximately every 4-5 miles with any type of aid you could imagine wanting. If what you are looking for is not there, then you don’t need it!
Are there bathrooms available on the course?
There will be port-o-johns available in some parts along the course. If you choose to make nature your bathroom we ask you to be sure to “bury it” where applicable.
I don’t remember if I registered. How can I check and find out?
If you registered online you can log into your Webconnex account and select “Registrations” to see your completed registration. If you registered by mail or in person you will receive a confirmation email once your registration was received and submitted.
Can someone pick my packet up for me?
We strongly encourage all runners to pick up their own race packet. It is important for runners to verify their data and make any necessary changes. However, if it is not possible for you to pick-up your own packet, you may have someone pick it up for you. That person will be responsible for turning in the runner's signed Waiver and verifying personal race information (name, age, birthdate, etc.). Packets will not be given out without the signed Waiver.
Can I register on the day of the race?
Yes, there is race day registration available at Woodstock Camp starting at 5am through to 15 minutes prior to each race start.
